Membership is open to Zimbabwe residents who have reached the age of 21. There is a provision for members who live more than 65km outside of Harare.
Candidates must be proposed and seconded by 4 members of at least one year standing. All candidates must be approved by the club's commitee.
Members of the diplomatic corps may be considered for membership, notwithstanding their temporary residence in Zimbabwe. They must be proposed and seconded by members.
Temporary membership can be made available to guest of members and guest who have made an accommodation booking. This entitles them to full use of the club.
As a Member you enjoy the Food and Beverage Menu which are priced well below those of the equivalent commercial sector. This Discount is not limited to Food and Beverage but also includes Accommodation and Room Hire.
Members of the Harare Club enjoy reciprocal membership of the Bulawayo Club and Mutatre Club in Zimbabwe and 15 clubs in Southern and Eastern Africa. Other countries where reciprocal rights are available are Australia (8 clubs), Channel Islands (2), Canada (1), England (19), Hong Kong (2), Ireland (2), New Zealand (4), Scotland (6), USA (4), Switzerland (1). Most provide accommodation.
